MILWAUKEE - A one in a million chance encounter has a couple from Milwaukee talking about a marriage proposal they'll never forget.

Abigail Kobriger said her life changed forever on her recent vacation, and pictures of those memories were taken by a very famous person.

“It's still very emotional,” she said.

Kobriger has a hard time holding back the tears after a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Tim Schlosser last week.

Schlosser didn't tell her what he planned to do on the beach, but he did need someone to take the picture. He thinks what happened next was fate. The couple ran into someone they both recognized.
“I know that guy!” he remembers thinking. “I could just tell from the build, from about a 100 yards away and it's Mike McCarthy.”

Stunned and star struck, they asked McCarthy for his photo. Then Schlosser asked if the coach could take a picture of the couple.

“I asked him, ‘Can you take a picture of us?’” he remembers. “And she's like ‘What?’”
As the Packers coach was about to take the picture, Schlosser made his move.

“Coach hang on, I’ve got one thing to do,” he said. “I pull out the ring and get down on one knee.”
From the photos, you can see the shocked look on her face. Schlosser said Coach McCarthy had a slightly different reaction.

“In his unique voice, he said ‘This is cool, this is really cool,’” Schlosser remembered.

McCarthy didn't stop with a few shots. The coach snapped 30 photos for the couple to remember their day. It wasn’t on the frozen tundra, but the white sands more than 1,500 miles away.

The couple doesn't have a date set for their wedding, but did say they are still pinching themselves about their chance encounter.
