BALTIMORE (WJZ) — As Ravens fans celebrated, violence broke out not far from the parade route. One teenager is dead and two others were injured in a triple stabbing. Now homicide investigators are trying to track a killer.

City police say they believe the victims are around 15 or 16 years old. The stabbing happened after they had words with their attacker.

A tangle of crime tape marks the area where three teenagers were stabbed downtown. One of them died on the way to the hospital. Police say moments before the stabbing, there was a scuffle between the victims and the suspects.

“It is an isolated incident. The victims knew their attackers. We believe this stemmed from a dispute,” said Anthony Guglielmi, Baltimore City Police.
The stabbing happened as crowds of people filled the streets for the Ravens victory parade, though it’s not clear if that’s why the victims were downtown.

“It was really awful to hear that after coming from this great celebration and then to hear it was a kid and who knows if it was kids really involved in it?” said Monica Queen, who works downtown.
“For them to sit there and not…get along with each other, it’s sad. It really is,” said Katharina Pawlik.
Mounted patrols, state police and a K-9 unit helped with the investigation.
