Where do I start?!

How about, don't worry Bears fans, he used to coach for the Lions!

Or, it figures you had to go to a hockey town to get a coach for the NFC Norris!

Or how about, I hope he has more Super Bowl victories than the last NFC Norris/North/Central/Black & Blue Division to get hired from the CFL!
  • That's would be zero for Bud Grant and the Vikes who hired him from the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 1960's, althought he did win 4 NFC titles.
  •
  • Maybe he is the next Bud Grant, like Grant he went to University of Minnesota and played football (although he later transferred to Moorehead State, you know, I've always been a fan of Moorehead!).
  • He even coached under Bud Grant with the 85 Vikings.
He was Bernie ("Brillo Head")  Kosar's (college) and Scott ("Buckethead") Mitchell's QB coach!  How many Super Bowls did those guys win?

He did win two straight Grey Cups, so give him a chance . . . . Coach me Coach!
