CRAZY - 42 years ago TODAY (December 13,1975) I was blessed to be a part of a great group of players & coaches. We won the NCAA National Championship in Football at NMU. CRAZY - yes but here is the rest of the story, we were 0-11 the year before (1974) No team has ever gone 0-11 to National Champions in 1 year, in any sport. 

 

MORE CRAZY after the game that night was the first night I met & talk to than cheerleader Connie Ward now my wife of 40 years Connie Awrey 

 

EVEN MORE CRAZY she took this picture of me running with the football that afternoon during the game before we had ever met.

NOT SO CRAZY----- God works in Mysterious ways & I am Blessed & Grateful
