It’s tough

Matthew Stafford is the best QB the Lions have had in my lifetime. I know I am only 31 and the best has yet to come but I have never seen any QB get this much grief from the fan base.
The Lions are the same team that put Jon Kitna, Mike McMahon, Joey Harrington, Daunte Culpepper and Rodney Peete, among others, on the field in my lifetime.
Now one national publication is starting to preach what Lions fans say daily on 97-1 The Ticket.
The Sporting News put out their list of the most overrated players in the NFL.
The Lions Matthew Stafford tops the list for QBs.
Here is what they have to say about Stafford:
Stafford has gotten one of the all-time free passes over his six-year career. He’s a quarterback who was the No. 1 overall pick, has been paid a ton of moneyOther QBs on the list are Matt Ryan of the Falcons, Jay Cutler of the Bears, Sam Bradford of the Eagles and Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Jets.(his three-year extension with $41.5 million guaranteed kicks in this year), has Calvin Johnson to throw to, has thrown a ton of hideous interceptions, has made two one-and-done playoff trips and one Pro Bowl, and has authored one epic late-season collapse, in 2013.
Former Lion Reggie Bush is also on the list for RBs.
