Olympic Conversation Starters

Skier Julia Mancuso Has the

Best Butt of the Olympics

You are looking at — nay, currently captivated by — the rear end of Olympic skier Julia Mancuso, the 29-year-old American racing down slopes at speeds of up to 65 miles per hour in Sochi in the hopes of bringing home the gold for our great nation. She's not won any golds thus far in the competition, but who cares about that when her behind is... winning gold medals across the Internet! (Zingity zing.)

Mancuso has a spectacular collection of photos on her Facebook page. She travels to beautiful places and traverses terrain that would scare the living crap out of any normal human.  Her life is like those Walter Mitty-esque credit card commercials where everything just looks fake. One of Mancuso's favorite shots is the ver one pictured above and below, of the view of her butt when she's at the top of a really scary mountain, ready to zip right down it like it's made of cotton balls instead of ice and rock.

Here she is at the Olympics starting line. She captioned this, "I'm about to go fast." In case you thought she might go at a slow speed.

"Nice view from the office," she captioned the below, which is probably one of those shoots for an Olympic commercial you thought was fake. That's some ski #realtalk for you right there.

She practices her signature pose indoors as well in pretend-ski scenarios.

Once she's get's going, she really goes.

And here's another insane high-art photo of her skiing on a beach.

Where is she going? Why, she skis straight into the ocean where she does this.

Then she surfs a huge wave back to shore.

And climbs back up to the top of the mountain with her bare hands, where she pauses to take a selfie.

Then she does the whole thing over again.
