87 TEAM LEADERS (FINALLY) ISSUE A SCRIPT FOR

THIS YEAR'S GOLFCAT OPEN IN MARQUETTE 

These older guys have a lot to learn about putting on an outing!  Here is the belated script from your your Quarterback & NMU Trustee, Rick Popp.  Oh yeah, there is a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn MQT as well

·         Coach Grenke’s barbecue beginning at 6 pm on Friday evening (this Friday). Coach will provide food. We’ll get a keg. Bring your own “brown liquor” or other bevy of choice.  Coach Grenke’s Address for the Friday night barbecue beginning at 6:00 pm is:  153 Lakewood Ln. in Harvey. 



"I will not provide brown alcohol. 
Alcohol is a drug men!  IT'S A DRUG!" 

The last two sentences are an actual quote from a turf room speech

 

·         Then to the Marquette establishments for those able

 

• Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the NMU Course. Two man scramble as usual. Bad golf. Good time. Lots of sweat with this healthy bunch.

·         Team meeting at the dome beginning at 6:00 p.m. (including food), then film session by Jeff Harry.

 

·         Then to Marquette establishments for those able.

 

·         Sunday morning coffee clutch to review accomplishments 

 

 

Also, we need your help in 2 ways:

1.       Let Whep know who is coming for sure. We need counts for the 2 main events:

a.       Who will be at Grenke’s on Friday?

b.      Who will golf on Saturday?

2.       Spread the word to any and all ’87 Cats and Friends
